About

NEXT is an invitation only elite skill development, leadership, and mentality training eventt held once per year in Virginia. In its first 6 years, the event has had players travel from nealry 30 states and 15 countries to attend this week long experience. With coaches and trainers coming in from all across the US, players will spend time on the court, in the weight room, and in the classroom working on not only their skilll and athleticism, but their leadership and skills that translate far behind the hardwood. 

This year's event will be held at Virginia Episcopal School (VES) in Lynchburg, VA from June 22-26th and will be limited to 35 accepted players. The total tuition for the event is $999 (minus the application fee) and includes all training, boarding, meals and gear. Payment plans are available.

Once you've filled on the registration page, you'll be emailed a brief 5 question Application Survey. Once this has been submitted, you'll received an email from Damin Altizer with your application decision. 

FAQs

Where will we stay? All athletes will stay on the campus of VES. While there will be no reason to leave campus, it is conveniently located near Lynchburg's airport, bus station, and hospital.

Where will we eat? All meals are included and will be in the VES dining hall. Boarding school food isn't known to be exceptional, VES is definitely the exception as last year players raved about the food!

What all is included in tuition? All training, meals, boarding, gear, and travel from the airport/bus station are included. Basically, once you get to Lynchburg everything else is included!

What's the player to coach ration? We typically have ~10-12 coaches and interns leading to a 3-to-1 player-to-coach ratio. There will be 2 coaches on each dorm hall and there is never a time during the week where players are unsupervised. Coaches eat meals, travel place to place, and stay on dorm with the players. 

How doe the payment plan work? If accepted, you'll be contacted asking if youd' prefer a single payment or payment plan. If selecting the plan, payments of $300, $400, and $299 will be scheduled & spaced equally between the acceptance date and June 1.
*Note: Regardless of what is selected, the application fee is deducted from the final payment. If you are not accepted, your full application fee will be refunded immediately.
